One of the first things you'll notice when you are starting up a law firm is that there is no one there to watch you. Although there probably is always something to do and it does take up a lot of your time, I wanted to write this article to remind you that the business isn't everything and if you take a day off it will still be there when you get back. Your doors won't close, the phone won't stop ringing, and the sun will rise tomorrow. Starting your law firm should be fun, and this means you have to step away every once in a while and smell the roses.
